Being "houseless" you receive a lot of projection, which is essentially discrimination and today I just wanted to sit inside out of the rain and do a bit of drawing. You generally can't do that in this world without paying something to someone especially this time of year and even when you do it feels like a lot of unnecessary sabotage comes in again and again!
My experience today was at a place called Blue Moon in Taunton. It's the only place I could find that looked relatively empty and didn't lace their food with Rapeseed Oil. I've decided that I have an allergy to Rapeseed Oil and there's nothing anyone can say to disagree with that because it my own experience based on what is happening to my body!

Lovely yellow flowers growing in a field with a nice "fruity farmer" oil! But what is really happening here.
As with everything here there is more than one message in my blog posts. Restaurant discrimination against me and a learning about what is actually going on with "Rape" Seed oil. It's literally a seed that has been raped and they are telling you that!
After getting myself a new 6 string ukulele, I seem to be doing a bit better with the busking. I'm able to sing better and people seem to be enjoying it more. It's also Christmas and they feel guiltier passing you on the street I imagine. Either way the result has bee me to spend more time eating in restaurants because it's warmer, dryer and I now have the money. I started to notice the difference in my guts within a week and more importantly notice how things feel with they come out the other end! It's interesting that it's called Rapeseed Oil and when it comes out of the other end it feels like you have indeed been raped! This causes me to look into what I've been doing differently over the last few days and there are a few things to be honest but I already knew that Rapeseed Oil isn't good for me and I had no idea how much all restaurants were using it.
They are literally using gallons of it per week. I was eating at one of the posher restaurants in Taunton just to try it out as I had some money and my cash bag was getting a bit heavy to carry around. Anyway what you notice is that the burger, although tastes amazing is lased with a lot of Oil on the bun. I imagine all the food was also cooked in a large amount of oil, which is why it tastes so good and why they also charge a premium for it. They are using the same cheap oil everyone does but just more of it. When I go out of the back for a cigarette what do I find? Gallons of Rapeseed Oil and you think to yourself surely they can't be using all of that to cook with! So I checked yesterday and went into another pub that I've been eating in and they said they used vegetable oil but after checking with the chef it was indeed rapeseed oil. They said they go through 8 - 20 litre buckets of rapeseed oil every two weeks! The more you pay attention the more you realise they are all using gallons and gallons of it in all the food because it's the cheapest!
I then went to Nando's and checked with them. They said they use about the same amount and it's just for their chips! I said what about the other food you cook? Eeer like what? Like the Mac and Cheese....Oh that comes in a tin! This is a restaurant claiming to cook you fresh food!! Now places also write things like "freshly chopped potatoes" which when you think about it means absolutely nothing!

Why is the population accepting this as viable marketing!
It literally means nothing and everyone just sees the word fresh and assumes they are getting fresh food!
So after all these experiences I decided to do some research and it turns out that Rape Seed is one of the oils that you can't make by using the traditional method of milling. You have to use a chemical or a solvent which is a glue! The short version is over the years they have spent lots of money trying to make it better and trying to stop it making people sick and then getting all these peer reviewed scientific studies in place to justify the existence of it being safe but there is literally no need for any of it. What's wrong with Olive Oil? I'll tell you what's wrong with it, it doesn't grow in this country.....that's it!
Eventually I manage to find a restaurant that could provide me a space to sit, do some drawing and be out of the rain. They showed me the Olive Oil they use and it didn't seem too overpriced or busy so I thought I would give it a go. When I ordered the food the young girl stood entering it into a payment machine as if she wanted payment so I asked "would you like payment now?" and she said "no we take it after the meal". About 5 minutes later another waitress or worker (there were 3 of them in an empty cafe) came and apologetically asked for payment. I pointed out that you have both just said something different, you're both aware that that has happened as it's a small cafe and it doesn't appear to make sense. It's what I get all the time wherever I go and it feels like your deliberately trying to gaslight me. She said no that's not the case and she blamed the manager for giving them mixed messages. As compensation she said she would give me a free coffee, which I accepted. I checked with the manager and the manager had a different story again!
Then a few more customers came in who didn't receive that treatment. They didn't ask them for the money upfront and when I suggested that I was being discriminated against they said they just hadn't got around to doing it yet. Then I went outside for a cigarette and she went up to the new customers I was talking about and pretended to ask them to pay while I was outside. I watched closely and they didn't pay in advance and neither did the next two that walked in. When I tried to suggest that this was discriminatory everyone just ignored me. What can I do, absolutely nothing. So I did a post and put it on twitter, speaking of the experience and within 5 minutes the manager came back over and gave me a refund!
While all of this was happening I was also finishing my drawing!

It's still possible to do what you enjoy doing even when the world appears to be trying to annoy you at every turn!
I started it yesterday night in a restaurant that said they don't use rapeseed oil in their pasta and it was a lovely meal, I got left alone, received great service and actually tipped the waitress which I haven't done for a while! The Café was Ask Italian and I had a lovely time sitting there drawing.
Now back to the other not so good experience. People would say, well at least you got a refund, you should be happy. No! I just wanted to sit down somewhere, order a meal and be treated like everyone else in a normal environment. Instead I walk into a café with more staff than customers, all huddled around each other and all with different stories about why they are treating me different to everyone else! I would rather pay £8.50 for a good service and a nice bit of food in a relaxed environment than have to deal with all of that! The café was was the Blue Moon in Taunton and they are not even registered anywhere for me to give them a review. When you check them out online they are owned by one guy who seems to be a fairly new owner in the form of a limited company.
I don't generally have any issues with that so far as it's nice to see what looks like a genuine local company even if the owner is Turkish. Either way his café is filled with moronic English women making int impossible for him to make any money or at least that's the perception they wanted me to have. You could ask the question are they trying to set up this "Turkish" owner by making the restaurant look bad? Like I say they didn't appear to be doing anything in the same way to others so I assume this was literally just for my benefit and it was to generate a response of anger to justify and spread narratives about me and or the café owner being aggressive and dangerous around the town. NSA - CIA - FED's and alike have the power to just waltz in and out of wherever they think I may or may not be going on the pretence that I'm dangerous. It was definitely why I got asked to pay in advance and definitely why there seemed to be a lot of confusion amongst them all and definitely why there were way to many staff than needed to be inside. Believe what you want, I've reached a point where I don't care anymore and have seen more of this than you can imagine so I know it's true and will keep talking about it until it stops or someone exists that is able to help me.
