According to the 100th monkey experiment we are supposed to be learning from the youth. I've been analysing them and if that's the case then I think we are doing it all wrong (which we are) but to be honest I'm not sure they have any answers either!
I've found over the last few weeks that life becomes a lot simpler if you imagine we are all just ones and zeros. It's not going to be big business for pride or extinction rebellion or any of the other movements that take great pride in "labelling" everything and everyone and creating a drama towards anyone that doesn't understand or want to engage but it may help the individual.
When I was in Glastonbury, I met a young girl on the monument who got very upset because her girlfriend (she didn't label her sexuality so she wasn't even a lesbian!) held the wrong hand. She was seen coming out of another girls house holding her hand and there was a possible kiss involved! I tried to offer words of help in the moment so I said "Well confusion leads to anger and anger leads to this and it seems like a very confusing story, did anyone do anything wrong?". She just repeated the story and got in more of a state so I don't think I helped much. Was I supposed to take someone's side, no idea! However I did learn that the kids are all into handholding, who holds who's hand at the right time and wrong time is very important and we need to understand this before we get left behind. Drug gangs are finished, it's a dirty business, it's all about the handholding now.
When I was in Clevedon I met another young lad who was on his way to Bristol for a night out, wanted some company and shared his alcohol with me. To be honest I think he was hoping that I would fund a lot of his night for him and possibly he may turn me into a homo but either way I felt up for a dance in Bristol as I was feeling bored. During that time he kept saying we are out on the one's and two's! Eventually I said, so what is one's and two's. He said after quite a bit of deliberation "I think it's just that we are out, and there is one of us and two of us". Well there you have it, two examples of the younger generation on a night out! How can we be out on the one's and two's if we are all one's and zero's is what I've been thinking about recently ;)
I searched google for a picture of a finger going into an o.k. sign like this and this is the best I could do! I think it's considered too rude a photo now!
So, we're all ones and zeros, you put the one in the zero and you make another one or possible zero. Simple right! Well during the making of the other one or possible zero the zero grows into a pair shape for about 9 months! You what! Or as the cockney would say "fuck a bout".
The zero turns into a pair shape and she suffers greatly for 9 months!
Oh my how the zero suffers greatly. Sometimes she's suffered so greatly that even after the one or possible zero has been produced she stays a pair shape for quite some time. The one doesn't suffer at all, he can essentially go and be a one for other zeros and create more possible one or zeros but the pair will frown upon this as she has and will suffer greatly. She wants to keep the one around for longer so she feeds up the one, so he also becomes a pair shape too, now they are two pairs suffering greatly together. I think this is what the youth mean by out on the ones and two's. This is the problem, they aren't out on the one's and zero's anymore!
Now the one has an outie and the zero has an innie, you put the outie into the innie and you create another possible one or zero. The one also has an outie that doesn't stick out but is used for waist bits and bytes and so does the zero. However when the zero delivers the one or possible zero it does come out of her innie! Simple ah! You can see how everyone has become confused by this. People have become so confused they now call themselves non binary which is neither a one or a zero! What's the answer, I don't know, I don't even know if I want all these one's and zero's walking about! They are going to eat all my food, and smoke all my weed! The zero seems to quite like the one's or possible zero's because she's suffered greatly for 9 months as a pair. Where does the balance of power lie?! I think we are still trying to work that out to be honest and it's a tough one, causing a lot of trauma and distress for all the extra one's or possible zero's that come along. It seems to be that the decision of the state or the governed mind (government) has been to give all the power to the zero on account of her suffering greatly for 9 months. This also causes a lot of pain and upset in the world for the one's that want to help and nurture their possible one's or zero's and is a big problem in this world at the moment. I'm speaking from direct experience and my case isn't even that bad compared to the grand scheme of things (even though it is bad).
This confusion has caused me to do a lot of thinking about this and what an alternative could be and I don't think their is one. The one's seem to be stronger and can physically take the new one's or zero's if they wanted to but they seem to have given all the power to the zero's on account that they suffered greatly for 9 months and is that the right thing to do, possibly! Essentially the world has been setup to give all the power to the zero that was a pair as long as there is no physical damage to the newly created one's or possible zero's. There are a few problems with this, one is that it doesn't account for emotional damage and the fact that in some cases it can be worse than physical damage and two, the one's that want to be involved using their own sense of power in the bringing up of these newer one's or possible zero's cannot. So what do you do, drag the newly created one's or zero's out of the house kicking and screaming to see the one when they don't want to leave the zero because they feel safe with the zero on account that they were pair!
To be fair this is a very complicated situation that is riddled with corruption in the family courts and there are lots of money making agenda's at work however I do have a few solutions that I should share on another blog post going into a bit more detail and stop talking about one's and zero's! :)
